Apparently many are wondering how we're going to rate comics on the new Wiki. the old "things that are fucking terrible about this webcomic," for example, may be considered to be in bad taste when reviewing something by Stan Lee, for example.
As we strive to make this wiki more accessible to new users, a bunch of new things must happen. The old format is fine for now but we'll have a new one completely ready by the end of the week.
Most of the review template will be kept. What will change are the ways that we use the Alice Heads rating system. First off, I'm thinking ditch Alice. Second off, we should have an "overall score" rating between one and five stars, as well as star ratings for each of the other categories, which we need to work on.
There is one new rule which will be kept: Before adding a webcomic review to the main site, you first have to post your draft of the review to the subforum "Submit a Webcomic for Review." This is for webcomic review review: the members will have a chance to read your review before it is actually posted, to ensure that it meets basic quality standards. It doesn't have to be the ultimate shining example of literary greatness, but it at least has to cover all important points, be brief enough to be read easily, and be complete and focused. If you cannot complete your review, add what you have to "Submit a Webcomic" and if your scraps meet standards then somebody else can continue to review.
Any other suggestions on changes to the old format, or any suggestions regarding what I have written above, are greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your cooperation!
